Trustee Questionnaires Each bankruptcy case is
assigned to an individual trustee. There are two trustees for Marion and Polk
County Cases. They are Ronald Sticka and Michael Grassmueck. These trustees also
handle cases from other counties. Further, cases from other counties may also
have a trustee other than Mr. Sticka and Mr. Grassmueck. In order to
determine the trustee handling your case, you need to look on your Notice of
Commencement of Case. This should be mailed to you directly from the
bankruptcy court clerk once your case is filed. A sample of such a notice can
be viewed here. Both Mr. Sticka and Mr.
Grassmueck send questionnaires to debtors prior to the date set for the
341(a) hearing. Debtors are required to complete such
questionnaires prior to the hearing and are required to bring relevant
documentation to the hearing. Failure to do so often results in the
hearing be rescheduled for another time. Below are links to

Court and Hearing Location Directions: The Bankruptcy Court is
a Federal Court. There are two
divisions, one in Portland and the other in Eugene. Cases for individuals living in Marion,
Polk, Lincon, Linn, and Lane Couties, and most counties south of Marion, are
filed with the Eugene Division. The first meeting of
creditors is held between 30 and 45 days after a bankruptcy has been filed.
The hearing location is shown on the Notice of Commencement of Case. A sample
of such a notice can be viewed here.
The hearing locations vary depending upon where the debtor lives. For
individuals living in Marion and Polk County, the hearing will be held in
Salem. For individuals in Linn or Lane
County, the hearing will be in Eugene. |
